My name ist Daniel Gut. More than 40 years ago I saw an underwater documentary film by Jacques Cousteau. Since then the underwater world has fascinated me. In 1986 I started scuba diving to explore the underwater world by myself.
During my scubadiving carrier I was often asked the question: ,What can you see down there?’
So in 2003 I started to capture the impressions of this fascinating world with my first digital camera to make them accessible to non-divers too..
In the meantime, however, it has also become a much more serious concern. The fishing and pollution of the world’s oceans continues inexorably and the days of this underwater world and with it our days could be numbered. I would therefore like to bring this world closer to you. Because only what you know can be appreciated. And only what we appreciate we want to protect.
