My name is Daniel Gut. Over 40 years ago I saw an underwater movie by Jacques Cousteau. Since then I have been fascinated by the underwater world. In 1986 I started diving to explore the underwater world for myself.
In the course of my diving career, I kept hearing the question: ‘What do you see down there?
So, in 2003, I started using my first digital camera to record my impressions of this fascinating world and make them accessible to non-divers.
In the meantime, however, it has also become a much more serious concern. The fishing and pollution of the world’s oceans is progressing inexorably and the days of this underwater world, and with it our days, could be numbered. I would therefore like to bring you closer to this world. Because you can only appreciate what you know. And you only want to protect what you value.
