No problem! In 2003, I successfully completed the CMAS ‘Instructor D1’ course with the police diving and rescue staff and since then I have introduced many others to the fascinating underwater world in over 3,000 dives and guided and accompanied them on their first steps into the world of diving.
Teaching gives me a lot of pleasure and there is nothing better for me than to see the enthusiastic face of a trial diver after his/her first excursion into the underwater world. Floating in the water, being weightless and the silence are a special experience that makes you completely forget the world above the water. And this is precisely why diving is a sport that is not just reserved for top athletes. However, as we are moving in an unfamiliar environment, serious training is essential.
It is precisely these qualities, for which CMAS also stands, that can often not or only partially be offered on a diving vacation abroad. The courses follow a strict schedule, time is money and often there are also communication problems.
That’s why I recommend that anyone planning a diving vacation should acquire the appropriate training before going on vacation.
It is therefore important to me to offer high-quality training. To achieve this, competence, patience and time are important factors. As I am not commercially oriented, I only train in small groups (max. five participants and only one student per instructor), can offer very flexible course times and guarantee training that fits to the individual.
